Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 14 is a limited, cask-strength single malt Scotch whisky produced at Mitchell’s Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown. Bottled naturally without chill-filtration or added coloring, this 14th edition showcases the classic oiliness and farmyard coastal Funk characteristic of Campbeltown malts, heavily interwoven with rich peat smoke. It opens on the nose with bright citrus notes of lemon and key lime pie, wholemeal toast, damp straw, and aromatic wood smoke. The palate offers a thick, viscous mouthfeel packed with campfire embers, toasted marshmallow, vanilla custard, and savory hints of smoked ham, balancing powerful peat with sweet malt and a touch of coastal salinity before finishing long, mineral-driven, and softly sweet.
