Kilkerran 12 Year Old is the flagship expression from Glengyle Distillery, crafted using traditional methods and matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled at 46% ABV, natural colour, and non-chill filtered, it delivers remarkable balance, complexity, and character.
The nose opens with inviting aromas of vanilla, honey, citrus zest, orchard fruits, toasted oak, and gentle earthy notes. On the palate, flavours of sweet malt, caramel, baked apples, soft spices, and light maritime influences are complemented by subtle hints of smoke and dried fruit. The finish is long, elegant, and warming, leaving lingering notes of oak, vanilla, spice, and gentle peat.

Matured exclusively in bourbon casks for eight years and bottled at its natural cask strength of 57.7% ABV, this limited-release Kilkerran delivers exceptional intensity while maintaining remarkable balance.
The nose bursts with aromas of creamy vanilla, fresh citrus, ripe orchard fruits, coconut, honey, toasted oak, and sweet malt. The palate is rich and full-bodied, offering layers of vanilla custard, caramel, lemon zest, buttery biscuits, oak spice, pepper, and delicate earthy smoke. The higher proof creates a wonderfully rich mouthfeel while allowing the vibrant bourbon cask influence to shine through. The finish is long, powerful, and warming, with lingering notes of vanilla, oak, citrus, sweet malt, and gentle spice.
