Origin: Yilan, Taiwan Flavour Profile: Intense Dark Fruit, Chocolate, Nutty, and Sweet Wood Spice Taste Background: Fully matured in Portuguese Port wine barriques in Taiwan’s hot, subtropical climate, which accelerates maturation and extracts maximum flavour. This whisky is known for its deep ruby color and rich complexity. The palate is intense, showcasing flavors of plums, blackberries, raisins, and cherries, all melding with a generous backdrop of dark chocolate and mocha. Notes of nutty praline and gentle wood spices (cinnamon, ginger) from the oak add depth, leading to a lusciously thick, syrupy mouthfeel and a long, warming, fruity finish.
