A fab Fettercairn, independently bottled for the Rest & Best Thankful range. This one aged in a single bourbon cask for a decade, from October 2008 to May 2019, and then it was bottled at cask strength with an outturn of only 218 bottles.
Notes:
Nose: Banana fritters, honeydew melon and a touch of ripe mango.
Palate: Maltier than the nose, with heavy vanilla and buttered bread. Peanut brittle and baking spice develops later on.
Finish: Honey-roast peanuts, clove and black pepper.
