Sherried single malt from the Glen Elgin Distillery, which has been bottled up by Adelphi. It was released as Batch 4 of the indie bottler’s Laudale series at 12 years of age, with 1,446 bottles produced.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Dates and cinnamon sticks, with a touch of honey slowly building.
Palate: Black Forest gateau, melted butter and grassy malt.
Finish: Creamy and rich on the finish with more chocolate, fresh vanilla and some tangy citrus.
