This Old Particular from the Mortlach Distillery has spent 12 long years maturing in a Refill Hogshead. It was distilled in January 2011 and bottled in May 2023. Only 361 bottles exist globally.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Freshly baked bread develops to vanilla and dried fruits
Palate: Lively with more of that vanilla character plus apricot conserve and caramelized nuts
Finish: Lingers sweetly with custard cream biscuits plus spiced oak and cut grass
