This whisky is produced from more heavily peated malt than the standard Benromach. It has been bottled at 46%, after maturing in ex-Bourbon casks,
Small batch made with heavily peated barley. Benromach Peat Smoke is matured in first-fill bourbon barrels. It offers fragrant vanilla notes, which lead to lemon sherbet and apricot, finishing with smoky bonfire embers.
