Angle Droit Sauvignon Blanc (13% abv)

Angle Droit is 100% Sauvignon Blanc from Touraine, coming from 15-25 year old organic vines. Grapes are harvested by hand and aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks for 3-5 months. Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc is quickly becoming one of our favorite styles of this grape, as it’s lush, racy, tense, elegant, fresh and vivid all at the same time. Lemon, grapefruit and lychee are plentiful on the nose and the palate, with their intensely aromatic qualities underpinned by a delicate salinity on the finish. A component of laser-like acidity makes this crisp and fresh but the fine lees aging adds some texture and weight to the wine.
